Inside the PUC university campus, there is a wonderful science museum to go with the kids or even not! It's a huge museum to spend good 5-6 hours in. The museum offers lots of interesting "to touch" exhibits and experiments. There's a nice cafeteria to have a snack or a buffet restaurant to have lunch.
